appreciated that i was able to ask obama about obamacare. i asked, why is it that the middle class is still buried in this country? why we have millions of people out of work? why is it that half of our children coming out of college cannot find a job? why is it that when he took office, 32 million people are on food stamps? i asked him those questions. you heard his answers. as a result of those answers, the american people recognize that he and i stand for something very different. i will help the american people get good jobs and a bright future. [cheers and applause] even more importance than what was happening in the past was what he plans on doing for the future. he had the chance to describe his vision for the future. what it was was more of the same. he described a series of ideas that we have heard before. he talks about a stimulus and hiring more government workers and having the government making investments. of course, he talks about raising taxes. they plan to raise taxes on the american people and that will kill jobs. we want to create jobs and not kill jobs in this country. presidential debate. president obama will stay in nevada for the next few days to wrap up final preparations. he campaigned in las vegas last night to a group of 11,000 supporters and in an effort to manage his expectations said he's just an okay debater. >> i know folks in the media are speculating already on who's going to have the best zingers. >> you will. >> i don't know about that. president romney is a good debater. >> that is in response to reports that romney is prepping and plans on taking jabs at the president. obama spokeswoman is saying don't expect the president to fire any blows and he looks forward to continuing his conversation with the american people. the president is traveling with a prep team, david axelrod anita dunn and senator john kerry. kerry is playing romney during the mock debates with the president. the team is hunkering down to get the president ready. romney is campaigning in denver today with a stop with the wings over the rockies museum. paul ryan is at a rally in iowa. early voting in iowa is now underway. a washington post poll out this morning shows 63% o

will not be able to sneeze. if obama gets reelected, the latinos will be more inclined to push him harder than the black community. the latino community is more diverse. they are more inclined to push marco rubio that people from the dominican republic and when it comes to issues of immigration. they will be more inclined to stand on their platforms. the other aspect is i think african-americans will be less likely to push back on a history maker, and one of the pockets of opportunity for black people is we need to push the history maker to be historic a little bit more for us of the the next four years. we are intended to do that because you go from slavery to the first black president. it has only been 150 years. think about the journey to go from slavery to the leader of the free world within 150 years. we are only 50 years away from jim crow. i think we probably need to push this president if he gets elected. >> we have pushed from the inside more from the outside. in another four years i think we would tend to push from the outside. >> in another four years or the next four years? >> the

, they say, that what barack obama and joe biden h have done, they have endangered medicare. they have stole moneyy. you have seen the ads. nothing could be further from the truth. every one of you in this room that's on medicare or knows someone, a mom or dad, who is on medicare, knows that since barack obama acted, your parents have and your parents on medicare have more. [cheers and applause] any of you on medicare know, that not only did you hit that doughnut hole where you have to pay all the prescriptions, you are saving $800 a year more than you would had barack not acted. number two, you can go in for that unscheduled visit you didn't think you would need. you don't need to pay a co-pay. you don't need a co-pay for things like colonoscopies and mammograms. [cheers and applause] it is just a bold-faced misrepresentation. i don't know how they can say that with so many medicare recipients saying they are better off. the thing most people don't know is that the action the president has taken has strengthened the medicare trust fund and extended its life up to 2024. that was never there
